There are separate cancellation policies depending on whether your payment for parking was in advance or for parking right now. If you have driven to a car park and paid on the spot, please see the ‘Drive-up cancellation policy’ below. All bookings made in advance are covered by the ‘Pre-booked parking cancellation policy’.
1) Pre-booked parking cancellation policy
For pre-booked parking, if a driver cancels, the amount we can refund depends on two things: the length of the booking, and when the driver makes the cancellation request.
If the space owner cancels, the driver will always get a full refund.
As shown above, for a short-term booking (1 day or less) the driver will be fully refunded if they cancel before the booking starts.
No refund will be made if the cancellation takes place after the short-term booking starts.
A medium-term booking (2-7 days) cancellation will allow a refund minus 1 day, if it is made before the booking starts. If it is cancelled after the booking starts, a refund will be made for the remainder of the booking minus 1 day.
If a cancellation is made before a long-term booking, the driver will be refunded minus 2 days. If made after the booking starts, they will receive a refund for the remaining time, minus 2 days.
Please ensure you are familiar with our rules and what JustPark constitutes as a day:
- Our days reset at 5am, therefore if your booking extends beyond this time you will be charged for 2 days even if you are parked for less than 24 hours.
2) Drive-up cancellation policy
For payments made on the spot in car parks, there is a no refund policy as the parking session is already underway.
