What should I do if I get a parking fine?

As long as you have given the correct information for your booking and followed the access instructions sent to you within the confirmation email, you can ensure that you won't receive a Parking Charge Notice (PCN).

However, if you have been issued with a PCN, here’s what to do…

1. Check the information is valid

Check the following information in the PCN against your booking details:

  • Date
  • Start and end time of booking
  • Location
  • Vehicle Registration

If you find that you have overstayed your booking or any of the above details don't match your booking, unfortunately, you will have to pay the PCN as you didn't have a valid booking. You will find all the information you need on how to do this on the PCN itself.

Please note: We'll need to receive the PCN from you within one week of you receiving it, in order to appeal the parking fine on your behalf.

2. Get in touch with us

If you've followed the booking instructions and all of the above information you provided when booking matches the details on the PCN, please submit all the details here.

We will double-check that the PCN has been incorrectly issued before appealing it on your behalf with the relevant enforcement agency. We will be sure to keep you updated on the progress of your appeal - but can't give a guarantee of cancellation until we've heard back from the enforcement agency.

Note: PCNs issued by Parking Eye or a Council must be appealed directly to their dedicated appeals team. This is because Parking Eye prefers that drivers contact them directly. You can submit your appeal here.
