My listing is not showing on searches
Why isn’t my space appearing?
There are a few reasons why your space may not be appearing when you search for it yourself. Here we will go through those reasons to put your mind at ease and assure you that your space is ready to receive bookings!
Check your space has been approved
Firstly, you will need to check if your space has been approved. You can do this by logging in and heading to Manage my Spaces to look for this green banner. 👇
Note: If this is anything other than green - please reply to the email you received or submit a support ticket under 'Make changes to my listing' > 'My listing is not showing!'
Check you're searching for a time when your listing is available
If your space is booked then it will show as 'Sold Out'. From the Manage my Spaces page, you can click on Preview and scroll down to Availability, then scroll a bit further to find your calendar. When you search for your space, you will need to search for a time/date that your space is actually available, so you can double-check that on the calendar.
Check what notice period you have set
If you have a long notice period set and your search does not take that into account then it will not show in search results. Going back to the Manage my Spaces page, click on Edit Availability. From here, you can check if you’ve got a Notice Period. If you do, then you will need to search for your space in however many hours advance you have selected for the notice period.
Check you haven't added specific unavailable times
From the same page, you can also see if your space is available every day/all day and if you have selected Add unavailable dates and times. Again, if you have selected these then you will need to search for times/dates outside of these selections.
Check other factors
The other factors that may stop your space from appearing in a search are having a minimum rental price and minimum rental duration. You can check all of these under the Edit Listing section of the Manage my Spaces page. If these are appearing on there, then you will need to search for your space with these in mind. For example, if you have a minimum rental price of £10 and your daily rate is £5, you will need to search for at least two days.
If you have looked through all of the above and still can’t see your space, please log out of your account and then look again with the same search criteria.
